Offering a great mix of high profile plazas, parks, commuter hubs and private venues, Portland has something to offer most marketers.

Obtaining permits for an outdoor or indoor experiential activation or special event is often the most vexing task for an agency or brand.  A marketer will often know the cities and demographic they want to reach but may not know which locations are appropriate to reach their target audience.  That’s where Event Permit Experts come in to recommend the right locations in each market and most importantly knowing who to call to obtain these permits.  Each city and location has it’s own unique set of rules & regulations to navigate when obtaining permits.  Locations in each market can and do change.  Only a company like Event Permit Experts can stay on top of the rapidly evolving landscape in each city to make the right recommendations and maintain the relationships with these venues and municipalities to make your experiential campaign or special event a reality.

Knowing how to obtain all necessary event permits, ancillary permits and community board approvals is where Event Permit Experts comes in.  With a wide breadth of knowledge obtained by consistently working with the decision makers at these locations we can help marketers navigate all the local ordinances and laws unique to each location to make your experiential special event a success.

Do you need event permits
in Portland?

Most outdoor special events and experiential brand activations on public property whether on plazas, streets, sidewalks or parks will require a permit.  Even special events or brand activations at indoor locations whether they be public or private venues have their own special fees, additional concessions and requirements.

Besides the standard special event permit often required for most locations, additional permits are often needed for amplified sound, large structures such as props and installations, sampling, tents, stages, food vending, alcoholic beverage sampling, fire department permits for generators or electricity.

Event Permit Experts is here as a one-stop resource to help you navigate the entire permitting process to make your Portland event a success.
